A group private medical insurance program offered to employees on the Romanian payroll.

Who is the insurance carrier?

Asirom is the insurance carrier for the group medical insurance scheme.

Key program benefits:

The health insurance provides coverage for:

• acute conditions (illness or accident);
• acute outbreaks of chronic diseases or pre-existing conditions;
• medical emergencies non life-threatening (illness or accident)

Acute condition: A condition or disease that occurs suddenly or has a progression of up to 90 days, which, following appropriate treatment, in the short term, leads to the recovery of the state of health before its installation.

Chronic illness: A known medical condition that has a long history (greater than 90 days) or has frequent relapses, requiring repeated specialist medical care or monitoring.

Acute outbreak of a chronic illness and / or pre-existing condition: sudden worsening of the symptoms of a chronic illness or condition pre-existing symptoms or the appearance of new severe signs / symptoms, which require medical intervention in order to prevent organic injuries / irreversible functional decompensations.

How do I enroll?

You will automatically be enrolled soon after you join the company.

Can I change my enrollment?

Unfortunately it is not possible to change the enrollment during the year.

Is there a cost to my medical plan?

The Company covers the cost of your healthcare plan as well as covers the associated BIK taxes for you.
