What is the program?
A Company sponsored healthcare plan for employees on the France payroll.
Who is the insurance carrier?
Generali is the medical insurance carrier for employees on the France payroll.
Key program benefits:
We provide healthcare coverage through Generali to full and part-time regular employees. The coverage will be provided for medical, dental, and vision coverage. Coverage is available for yourself, your spouse and children.
The plan covers private hospital and day -patient daily unit fees. Specialist fees, minor surgery, lab tests & imaging, as well as general practitioners are covered at 100%. Our Medical plan covers 100% medicine reimbursement by social security.
An additional top-up plan is available for purchase. This is a voluntary enrollment. The medical top-up plan (surcomplementaire) will cost you €18,85 per payroll deduction. Costs are subject to change.
How do I enroll?
You will receive an email from the Benefits team shortly after joining the company informing you about the necessary steps regarding enrollment. You will have 2 weeks to complete the forms and return them to emeabenefits@dowjones.com.
If you do not enroll within 30 days of your hire date with Dow Jones, you will not have healthcare coverage. You would not be able to enroll until the annual enrollment window later in the year, unless you lose other coverage and experience a life event. If you lose other coverage, you must notify us within 30 days of your loss of coverage to enroll in our plan. Coverage under our plan will be effective the first of the month following your enrollment.
For changes to your benefits in the future, you must reach out to emeabenefits@dowjones.com directly within 30 days of the change.
Can I change my enrollment?
If you experience a life event, like getting married or having a baby, you can add your new dependent within 31 days of the event.
Is there a cost to my medical plan?
The Company covers the cost of the group healthcare plan. If you elect the top-up coverage, you will be required to make full payment.
