How do I enroll in benefits?
You will receive an email from the Benefits team shortly after joining that will outline important action items and forms for you to fill in. You will have 2 weeks to complete the forms and return them to dowjones@news.co.uk.
For changes to your benefits in the future, you must reach out to dowjones@news.co.uk directly within 30 days of the change.
If you do not enroll within 30 days of your hire date with Dow Jones, you will not have healthcare coverage. You would not be able to enroll until the annual enrollment window which is in December each year, unless you lose other coverage and experience a life event. If you lose other coverage, you must notify us within 30 days of your loss of coverage to enroll in our plan. Coverage under our plan will be effective the first of the month following your enrollment.
When are new hires eligible for health and welfare benefits?
You are eligible for health and welfare benefits from day one but the coverage does not begin automatically. You will have to complete the relevant enrollment tasks such as completing forms.
Is there a cost to my healthcare?
The Company covers the cost of your healthcare plan.
When am I eligible for pension?
You are eligible for pensions from the month after you complete and return your form.
How do I enroll in the pension?
When you receive an email for your health and welfare benefits, you will receive the documentation you need to complete to enroll in your pension benefit as well. You should complete the form and return it within 2 weeks.
