How do I enroll in benefits?
All enrollments for your health and welfare benefits will be made on The Benefits Hub.
The Benefits Hub can be found through Okta and by clicking on the tile, you will be signed into your Benefit Hub account. You’ll also receive an email during your first week prompting you to enroll.
When are new hires eligible for health and welfare benefits?
You are eligible for welfare benefits from day one while certain benefits such as Medical and Dental are available from the first of the following month from when you make a selection.
For Private Medical and Dental plans there is a new joiners window of 35 days within which you will have to enroll into these plans, each new joiner is automatically notified by BenefitHub about the new joiners window. In case you miss the new Joiners enrollment window you will be eligible to join only at the annual enrollment window that is open in September each year.
Is there a cost to my healthcare?
You will pay tax on the cost of your private medical coverage. This tax will be deducted from your paycheck. The dental plan on the other hand is on a salary sacrifice basis where you pay for the cover and get the relevant deduction from your paycheck.
When am I eligible for pension?
Under Auto Enrolment legislation employers complete an assessment period which is 3 months to assess eligibility under the legislation. It also gives employees who do not wish to join the pension an opportunity to opt out, again under the legislation
